What is Rotary? Opportunities for Service

Our guest speaker will be Richard speaking about "What is Rotary" and "Opportunities for Service" as part of a member education process.  This will prepare us for the following month where Simon, our current president, and Mark, our president-elect, will outline their vision for the next 18 months.   

Some of the topics Richard hopes to cover include:-

• Areas of Service - Community, International, Youth, Club
• The role of District, and its various project committees, support, etc including District Conference, Assembly, PETS
• National projects such as Australian Rotary Health, Rotary Australia World Community Service and ROMAC - Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children
• Rotary Foundation and the opportunity for major projects
• Rotary Fellowships
