Next Meeting Wed 24 June

At this meeting, members of our neighbouring Rotary Club of Maroubra will be joining us.

Guest speaker will be Peter Charlton, President of the Waverley Community Men's Shed.

The Men’s Shed is a place where members (men and women!) with a range of skills and experiences can come together to nurture their woodworking skills, exchange ideas, discuss their experiences and get involved in community projects.

Did you know - over the past ten years our Club and its predecessors, Randwick and Botany have raised and donated over $600,000 to worthy causes in our local and international communities!

Richard gave a short presentation on our Club website and how to log into the “Members Only” section.  He also outlined the significant resources available to assist members and, in particular, members of the Club Board, manage their roles in the coming year.

Member Peter updated members of the significant progress been made on the Bukono school project in Uganda, with work about to commence.  

President-elect Mark will also explain the project support for Kurnell Public School, even though it is out of our area, with support from Sydney Airport. 

The meeting also voted to adopt our updated Constitution and Bylaws. 

Following the formal part of the meeting adjourned downstairs for dinner.
