At our last meeting, our guest speaker was Jennifer from The Deli Women and Children's Centre
The Deli is a non-profit organisation that provides free counselling, case management, parental support and other services to women and children affected by domestic and family violence. Their goal is simple - to make sure that everyone who walks through their doors feels safe, supported and heard.
Jennifer gave us an inspiring talk on the great service that The Deli provides for our community, all at no cost to those that so desperately need it:
Domestic Violence Counselling
Parenting support
Case co0ordination and management
Domestic Violence Group Programs
Parenting Workshops
Jennifer's talk aligned with Rotary Australia's current project to raise awareness of domestic violence and its impact on our communities.
As a Club, we have supported The Deli for many years, and Jennifer presented President Simon with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Step Out, Speak Out …
On Friday 21 November, we had a great turnout of about 12 members, friends and family attended the annual Step Out, Speak Out Walk.
This year's walk was led by the Governor of NSW, her Excellency Margaret Beazley AC, KC together with the Police Commissioner and the Mayor of Randwick. Also in attendance were a host of Federal, State and local politicians.
After the march, we left the banner on display for the weekend at Coogee Beach:
